Worth the Extra Cost, 2012

Thanks to all the great reviews on Amazon, I decided to buy this juicer. I had the Jack La Lane juicer and it never worked- just HORRIBLE overall. By contrast, this juicer is AMAZING. Reliable, good-looking, easy to clean. If you want to juice, get this one. There is no substitute. You may get it cheaper with a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon so shop around.
Great juicer, 2012

Does a great job. Bought a second one for my granddaughter. We use it daily and it never fails to live up to expectations. In addition to making for a healthier diet, it makes delicious drinks.

Received this juicer for Christmas and have been putting it to the test for nearly two weeks now. It has surpassed my expectations: very powerful, extracts a great amount of juice, solid construction and easy clean-up. This is our first juicer so I don't have anything to compare it to but I am very pleased so far.

I almost never write review, but I am because this juicer will make a lot of people very happy (and healthier, too.) As many reviewers have already indicated it does a great job extracting the juice leaving reasonably dry pulp. We used to have a Juiceman which didn't at all and made us feel like we were wasting good produce. The speed adjustment on the Breville really helps with this, as do the razor sharp blades. We've had the Breville juicer about 3 months, and though we don't use it every day, we use it several times per week. It cleans beautifully, has high quality parts, and we've never had a problem with it. As for the person who brought home a Breville juicer that didn't work at all, it's a shame he didn't just go back and get a new one. Duds happen, but usually good products deserve a second chance.
